does any know if the spark plugs used in the t-jet will fit the 1242 16valve engine.

I expect so but trying to decode the part number is not working at expected.

I know the t-jet is a iridium plug that is one heat range cooler (normal 16v is 8 and t-jet is 9... which is to be expected)

all i need to know is if the plug thread and thread length is the same... I expect it to be... but dont want to waste money.

Incase anyone has a t-jet plug to hand.

the 16v plugs they need to match have a 19mm thread length. and the thread diameter is 12mm

you can use thinners but be very careful with it, use too much and the lens will fall to bits

Ah right fair enough, might just buy new ones instead and switch them for resale. Gonna put my car back to standard as much as i can tomorrow i think and put a for sale sign in it

Could always go ask any brewerys near by or local pubs? Or even restaurants that serve beer, where i work we share the bin area with frankie and bennys and theres always empty beer barrels in there

Just give them a little bit of cash for one, im sure you could persuade them or just find their store of them and go for a midnight mission and pop one in your pocket haha (i dont condone stealing at all )

tbh when me and my mate get wrecked at the many locals we come back with some odd stuff

For a Keg your looking at £20 at least... we sell barrels of Ale at work and the cheapest we sell them for is a 8gal at £48 and most of that is to cover the Keg costs..

if you return it to them then you will most likely get some of your money back too..

Its to stop them been bought then given to scrap yards...

Also the one you will get will be an Unsealed unit... it will have the cork point on the side broken. and the tap seal broken on the top... they can replace either... at a cost.
