oi you making me look bad again, you was supposed to bring it back to get the dodgy washer replaced :(
no i know that needed changin the bangin is something else i think i had a bangin noise before u did the bearing but it went for a bit after the bearin was done

That's really bad news, and those photos are shocking. It must have been a terrible thing for Sammi to go through, but as has already been said it could have been much worse. Thankfully she managed to come out of it relatively lightly.

Cars can be replaced, but people can't. I'm sure we're all glad that she survived the incident and wish her the very best for a speedy recovery.

Please pass on my regards and best wishes,

Chas

There's a good one on the left of each of sammi's posts. Let's leave it at that. She has had a big bump on the head, and lots of little cuts to her face, plus I can't get the picture out of my head when I first saw her with blood caked all over her face. :(

Probably too early to get too involved in this but SKF have a failure analysis service if the fitter and suplier start blaming each other.

Blood is something we do worry about seeing - just natural as its supposed to stay inside. Always makes injuries look a lot worse than they really are though. You'll both be laughing about this soon.

As for your bruises and bumps I hope you got someone to get you out of bed in the morning as you'll be stiff as a board. I know I was :(

So sorry to hear about that, hope you get better soon and back on the road. I'm sure H will let u have a go in his coop now and again, whatever car u get. At least you know they're sturdy...

On a lighter note, Tell H he could have cleaned it before taking some pics... :p

thanks again for all your kind posts.

I woke up this morning and the pain is a lot worse and in more places than you can imagine, the sewlling on my face has got bigger, forcing my eyes shut - so i look a right bonnie bugger

Mum is getting the hairdresser to come round to wash the rest of the blood out my hair, so least i will look a bit more presentable.

I feel a bit degraded not being able to do things for myself, i am not allowed to have a bath for a week because of the dressing, so have to have a stand up wash with the help of my mum :(

I think what you need is some tlc beauty treatments!! If only you wernt so far away as i could of came up, manicure, pedicure, etc, that would of made you feel better!! Hope you get better soon!! :)

wow your so lucky you got out! im glad that your ok! are you really shaken up about the full thing? must be difficult to take in exactly whats happend and to what extent. hope your feeling better soon xxx

Glad you were able to come on the forum to tell us you were OK, must have been a big shock. Although you don't always meet people on the forum in person, you do get to know them as if you did.

As far as the car is concerned, I know this garage under the arches in London that will have it back on the road for £500.00 cash :).

If you were a man, a week without a bath would be quite normal ;). If you were a student a month without a bath would be even more normal.

Must have made a change for the hospital to see somebody other than Gaz.

One month? Sammi usually goes for much longer. I bet they all known Gaz by name in that hospital and probably ask at the start "Was a bloke called Gaz involved in this?"

I've only just seen this thread  I'm very sorry to hear about this. What else can I say. Shocked

Has anybody ever thought about doing a newsreel for this forum. I could have easily missed this and it's not something you want to miss, for the sake of the people involved.
