Hello all, you know how it is when it's a beautiful and everyone seems to be doing the summer things... and you decide to work on the car. OK armed with a screw driver i decided to find out what was what.

Digging out the body filler used on the panel seems to see what (how much) was causing them to blister slightly in some places. I needed to know how bad it was... those with heart conditions should look away :), actually i have seen much worse.

now what i want to know is what would be the best way of delaying the corrosion so that i can save up to have the welding done, or is it a straight down to the bodyshop kinda thing already? the MOT is due at the end of september.

That's how Splutter started and when Stu took the grinder to him there was nothing left... :(
Cruel to be kind Steve, and besides that car now gets praise from the MOT stations for Stuarts surgery... I will have to hunt down a panda fan body work specialist... hmm that's a short list :)

Obviously he was much worse than this.
That's what i was thinking... I DO NOT want it to get anywhere near as bad as Splutter was. I couldn't afford to have it repaired.

Some one mentioned you were a welder Chris... is that true?

The panda hasnt really needed much welding (maybe i shouldnt say that ;)), its only needed a patch put on the passenger side sill. Sadly i didnt do that weld, as it would have been alot better than it is (sticks out like a sore thumb :()
