The radio and ignition needs to be switched on continuously until the display shows "- - - - ". Depending on how many wrong codes have been tried, the waiting time could be up to 24 hours.

My punto 2001 radio must realise that the car has only a short life left!!! The radio is now not only without a working screen but having decided it was not going to turn off recently is now dead. I am hoping putting in the right code will work.

Code which is 2239 for fiat Doblo 1.3 2005
I haven't had to put it in before and it has 1-6 preset buttons but these just type 1 if I tap it I tried tapping button 1 twice for the 2 but it just does a 1 I tried using the tuning up and down arrows I just don't know how to do it
Please help

Sounds like you've been given the wrong code, post your radio's serial number and I'm sure Davren will be able to get the correct code for you

The code for your radio should only contain numbers from 1-6, as the buttons suggest, so having a 9 means you've been given an incorrect code.

Post the numbers from the back and side of the radio, then I'll let you know if I have the correct code.
