you know what - i dunno what it is but i've had soo little show, such petty things like people walking on road its pointless for me to show

I think something about dash camera's has helped us all predict things better and nothings happened since?

Also @sludgeguts have you considered reporting him to his company?

I manage between 100 & 150 miles per day - all in and around town so I tend to hit plenty of roundabouts, junctions etc.
I get plenty of people on their mobiles but due to window tints, very few of them show up on the cam.
The problems come when you get idiots like these & you have to try to stop short of hitting them without chucking my vulnerable passengers out of their wheelchairs.
I have reported this driver to his company, sending them a link to the YT video - but haven't even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my email.

How long ago did you email the company?

If not - i'd be ringing them up and asking to speak to the manager :)

box vans view may have been obscured so couldn't see it but, if i see a car on hard shoulder ect, and quiet road like that, ill give em the extra lane

Ditto.

I think they were all lucky tbh, box van could have seen that coming if reading the road, all 3 drivers appeared to have failed to do that.

Saw this on trucknet the other day, the TN-CSI broke it down frame by frame and apportioned blame almost equally to all 3 drivers :D

The Green truck for being a muppet and not seeing the broken down truck, the dashcam truck for not noticing the obstruction ahead, and the boxvan driver for not noticing the hazard and/or situation developing and moving over out of the firing line.

All of them, lucky sods though !

Dash camera truck i would say isn't to blame, he hit nothing

More through luck than judgement. The HGV that hit the box van wouldn't have hit anything (ok, yes I know he clipped the broken down HGV, but only just) if the box van hadn't have been there.

If someone had been up the side of dash cam HGV then he'd have been at fault.

I feel sorry for the box van.... He had the rough ride in that....

Its video's like that as to why i cant trust lorry drivers....

ziggy

He would likely be on his phone talking or texting... some lorry drivers seem worse than other drivers for doing this.
