Sounds like you've got a plan though.

Good to meet you today, thanks for the tailgate, you're in credit for one fibreglass version once production rolls into life!

Cheers, John

You back from the soaking north OK then.

It still hasn't stopped raining.

Good to meet you too, best of luck with your project. Might just have to get a speed licence and come play down south.

Cheers

Got back just, the weather on the M9/M73/M74 was unbelievable. Good job the Pzeros have plenty of tread!

Any Non-race national-B licence can be used, so your rally licence is fine for sprints/hillclimbs.

Regarding fibreglass panels, I intend to progress bonnet and boot after xmas ready for the new season.

Cheers, John

OK, its been a while, but work has been getting in the way of play recently.

So, to update.

ECU still not fitted, but rest of wiring loom now tidied up and wires identified, so thats the next big thing.

Sump guard now fitted, new front bracket fabricated (no pictures yet, in case you are wondering).

Cheers

Piccies time.

The sump guard front mount. I think they are self explanatory.

Where the hell has the last two month gone?

OK, update time.

OMEX ECU finally wired up, needs set up, so I called the rolling road every week for the last six weeks. They never phoned back, finally got a hold of someone on Tuesday to be told that they were moving premises and didn't know when they would be able to do my car. Bugger.

Spent hours on the interweb search all sort of Scottish Car forums.( If you think this is a weird place, believe me it aint) No one could come up with an answer, all the ones mentioned had negative comments. pah.

I finally gave in and went to one behind the airport. They don't have a great reputation, but I think thats probably something to do with the knobheads with rice motors that want 400bhp for nothing, well I hope anyway.

Yup, they had a good laugh at a Cinq with management, but I knew I was in for a slagging so went with it and actually got a date for the week after next.

Back on track, I hope. First off road evevnt of the season is 10th June. I've been using daughters Justy for the spring tarmac series, thats cost me a couple of expensive tyres. I don't want to use it off road though.

Cheers

roll on remap time, bet your itching to get it running aren't you! :)

Make sure you post up your graphs once its done.

The Omex looks like a nice system and was on my list, I stuck with the sei ecu though, and am looking at a remaped clone, or get it done on the rollers.

Keep up the good work :)

If its the same place behind the airport I am thinking of they don't seem to bad. A mate who lived pretty close to them used them for his 6speed turbo Astra GSi, they even let him store his engine there for nearly a year as he did have it fitted in a Nova before it was written off. this was after going to probably the bigest VX tuner in UK in Southampton and having an awful job done, they got the car running right.

Aaron.

Thats good to hear. They sorted out my Manta rally car when I had it, and seemed to know their stuff, but they can be a bit 'funny' when you talk to them.

I'm sure you can imagine the conversation, 'you've done whit!'

Cheers

You can take the Aaron out of Scotland but not the Scotland out of Aaron!

:D
