Well done. In fairness to FCS they do seem to try and provide solutions and compensation. They ought to get the paperwork right though. This endless stream of inaccuracy is at least incompetent.

After many, many years of Land Rover ownership a change of job location meant a change of car. I still needed good off-road performance as I teach arboriculture and often need off road access.

Found this little fella 3 months ago with 13k miles on the clock and very happy with it. The only niggle is a sticking caliper on the rear near-side (due to lack of use) Currently averaging 62mpg

Hi everyone, first post here.

I was a little disappointed to read that the Panda 4x4 no longer comes with standard M+S tyres. Everything I read on the website (and in the output of the configurator) suggested it would, and it was one of the reasons I have just ordered one.

Could anyone tell me what specific tyres (brand, spec) are being fitted as “summer tyres” now? I guess better economy and ride and reduced noise on the road are upsides, but I don’t want tyres that are going to be hopeless in the mud and may look to swap these out if they’re not a sufficient compromise.

Mine came with Continental Eco 6 175/65/15 - if you go back to the above thread, you’ll see I just got agreement from Fiat Customer Service, to pay for the M&S tyres I replaced them with, as it wasn’t highlighted to me at the time of purchase

Did you have to fight over mats, too? They are listed as standard on the configurator but I see lots of posts saying they are absent on delivery.

I have had this out with Fiat customer services recently and suggested they just stop advertising floor mats that are not provided and suggested its dishonest advertising. They very indignantly said they ARE supposed to be added at PDI by the dealer and that this should be clearly understood by all dealers. Anyone so affected should go back to their dealer and politely insist on these being supplied if its stated in the sales literature that they are included. I now have a set from each of the Pandas I have bought new. Any arguments, ask them to speak directly to FCS who will doubtless correct them.

Mine too. A very good road tyre too. I have unfortunately paid for a set of Michelin Alpin M+S which are also very good. I think better steering than the continentals that used to be fitted. I was however expecting summer tyres.

Fiat corrected the web site on many inaccuracies in January, but it seems to have reverted again on some of these things. They are incapable of fixing the web site and you would all be well advised to ask specific questions at your dealers on every single issue that may be a concern so you are not misled, most notable which engine and gear box you are buying or you may be very disappointed.

The average 7 year old boy who's dad has a Fiat knows far more about the specification of Fiatcars than does FCA / Fiat UK. One might think they couldn't give a fig.
