if the tdc sensor reads the alternator pullley does the alternator pulley have to go on a certain way

yes. there is a little nipple that goes in a hole between one of the three studs.

thank you clock 34 is there anyway that i could have put this wrong as i was doing the head gasket and the timing belt and now the car wont start but backfires like i had it plugged up wrong thats why i asked the other day what order they go in the coil

yes you can do it wrong the nipple is only tiny. you could also have miss-timed it?

Check the timing, refit the bottom pulley correctly and if still back firing check the coils are the right way round.

as far as i can see the timing marks are right as i looked them up on auto data but they probably are wrong, but i didnt notice a nipple for the bottom pulley, so im hoping thats whats wrong with, and if its not then it has to be my timing and ill get someone who knows what theyre doing to look at it, im 16 and stubborn and wanted to do it myself ive only been an apprentice mechanic for a couple of months

Like rc said, check the coil wiring and the ht leads in correct order

My money is on the timing pulley in the wrong place. You only have a 33% chance of guessing correctly. Been there, done that.
