General tapping

got a tapping noise comeing from the engine asked some1 i no and they aint got a clue!!! i wanted to no if any1 lives in the medway/gravesend area who nos alot bout them that might be able to help me i will bring the car to you and if your lucky will but a pint or 2 for your service

oil water all on max checked daily and has not moved oil and filter changed bout 5 months ago before i got my licence no leaks anywere no sign of water in the oil head gasket changed bout 3 mounths ago

I would guess that its a tappet issue, use a screwdriver as a stethescope and listen to top of engine.

sweet cheers if it is the tappets are they easy to replace and if i got one from a scrap yard is they any way of checking there ok or is it just pot luck and hope

Go to the scrappy and get the complete rail from an Uno 45. They are manual.
