Technical TA 0.9 105 Clutch & Gear Selector Cables

Hello dear FF (FF = Fiat Friends).

I have a 2014 0.9 105 TwinAir as you know from my previous posts and was wondering about the clutch after reading some posts on a FaceBook group. Some owners seem to have a lot of trouble with clutch master and slave cylinders and it started me thinking about mine, i've never checked the fluid levels and in fact haven't noticed i've even got any hydraulic cylinders. So i had a quick butchers and it seems mine is a cable, can someone confirm? Or am i looking in the wrong place?
Also, is it good practice to oil/grease the gear selector cables and is it easy to do?
I ask because sometimes, not often though, 1st gear is hard to select, also reverse. So it got me thinking about fluid level (which i don't have) and then the cables.
Do any of my FF have any experience of this?

Hi the cables shouldn't need any attention

For Reverse, try my trick I always use, dip clutch select 4th then immediately reverse?

I need to check my gearbox oil as I have a serious problem selecting reverse(still), 1.2 engine
