Technical suspention broken

just had my 52 plate jtd serviced and the ot done which it failed due to both my front suspention springs being broken.i have had the recall repair done, i have not noticed any difference in the car and it still corners and breaks well. has anyone else had this?

loooooooooooooooooooads of people have had it, not myself (yet)

have a word with FIAT uk and see if they may pay for some of the repairs, a few people have tried many have had a no but a couple had fiat pay for them.

How many miles has the car got?

had mine fail MOT due to the same problem on friday, i jus got some lowering springs off ebay. F*** Fiat they dont want to haelp you at all after the warranty

1)Why should they if its out of warranty?

2)I would estimate (from personal experience) 90% of claims for spring breakage are approved.

I've got a 52 plate too, ive managed to break both front springs and one shock in the 10 days ive had this car!

Now i know that this is a common problem but just how common are we talking here?!?!

Just ordered my Pro eibachs springs for the Abarth, You just know it will or already has happened !!!. Going to go the the lot next Sat, Drop links springs shock and replace with new quality aftermarket..

In your position I think I'd make sure I had some springs ready.

One things for certain - Fiat aren't likely to replace them for free on that mileage
