Ah - no passengers - good plan!!

Not criticising the wiring - looks like a neat job (y) I am a bit fastidious (not as much as the Doc though) and try to hide things where possible.....

Mind you, I guess from the drivers view you won't see the wires and unless you are a really short passenger who chooses to sit in the footwell you won't see them!!!

Just had another look at the picture I posted and tomorrow I wiill employ another little piece of the black twisty stuff to hide those wires that are showing:)

I like the dials (y) I will fit mine on the window pillar I think but I want dials that match up with the OEM dials as much as poss. I did see somone fit a dial in the air vent and that looked OK so if I am not happy with the pillar position then I will try that.

Nice work Superspotter, as far as I know you are the first one in the UK to fit any new dials. (y)

I thank you Doc!!
Would hate to mutilate the dash and fit them into the air vent holes:yuck:
Also, as mentioned before, I think that fitting them to the A pillar in the B would be too near your face:eek:
These dials are really cool though when lit up, I went into the garage tonight when it was nice and dark just to sit in the car to see them lit up:eek:

Whenever my B falls apart I think I'll pop over to old Blighty and pick a new one up; they're dirt cheap, you lucky c*nts!

Much better prices :) I'd buy the black one from 04 and fit white 17" OZ WRC alloys on it :slayer:

Just received the oil filter adaptor to enable me to now wire in the two gauges so this is my job for Wednesday. At the same time I can give the B an oil and filter change so will look to use a semi synthetic oil.So hopefully the oil pressure and oil temperature gauges will be up and running Wednesday afternoon:)
By the way, as you can see in the picture, this is a very high quality piece of billeted aluminium used for the adaptor and at £9.99 plus shipping, rather beats the £86ish certain stores want for the same thing here:confused:

Your B'll end up looking like something Swedish with the yellow and blue

Okey Dokey!
Finally got the amp and speakers finished:eek: I also decided to take my JVC DVD/CD/MP3/god knows what else it plays player out of my 4 X 4 and put my amp to good use in the B:) It now sounds very crisp and clear doing 100MPH(y) (on a private road m'lud).
You will see in one of the pics the crossovers placed next to the amp that I am using to run the speakers seperately. Then it was on to the trip meter fix:)

Where did you put the subwoofer?
