Why dose it seem that everyone puts the anti slip chequer plate on the out side am I missing something here? surely a smooth hard surface Would slide over things Friction ect aluminium is very soft too Steel 2 mm sheet must be far better.

Not much to discuss as you're absolutely right.
I thing its down to availability and wide use in Landy's world.


With panda (even if lifted) lower ground clearance panda sump guard is acting mainly as skid plate as well.

Yep. Jacob I recon that a sacrificial 1.5 mm sheet bolted to the sump guard would be the best option
Education of all about friction coefficient would be a good case, against the look of an angry front end
Ha
 
Great stuff did a replant go first or some one with a very low exhaust ha
 
Typo reliant due to central grass being divided
