Hi everyone. First time poster but constant browser.
Recently developed the common fault of the air blower not working on my 59 plate fiat punto grande.
Looking through related threads I suspected that the problem lied within the resistor block and/or loom. I checked these and found no visual faults but replaced anyway to no avail.
Before bringing it to the shop I decided I'd check the fuse but was unable to find the exact number in the user manual. The closest I found was fuse 10 on the dashboard (INT power supply for switch on break pedal (NC contacts), switch on clutch pedal, interior heater unit, convergence control unit, car radio preparation system.)
Is this the correct fuse? I have no problem with anything else in the car and that fuse seems to impact several systems.
Finally, if the fuse is not the fault am I to assume that the fan motor itself has gone? is this doable myself and how much would it cost at a shop?
Thanks for your help.
