Technical Stilo Speaker size

I am getting conflicting opinions from various so called experts about the size (front & back) of the Stilo speakers. Some say absolutely nothing but 6.5" will go in and some say 170 will do it.

Does anybody here have the right answer before I start ripping my panels off?

In my experience (though not with the Stilo but with my old Punto) both 165mm and 170mm speakers will fit in a 6,5" hole, at least they did in my Punto.

But i'll bet that some one who has actually tried to change the speakers in a Stilo will give you an answer shortly.

Cheers Santa, looking through 33 pages of Ice I found a bloke who put 170 mm in sucessfully. Now to get onto e-bay and buy buy buy.

Is that in the front or rear though? Can't see them both being the same size?

Manual says 6.5 all round.

I thought the rear ones were smaller than the fronts. Can't say I've taken any notice of the rear ones actually, i never sit there!
