Technical Stilo servicing

[Most Easterly Pandas]

Looking at a stilo 1.4 on eBay which is local to me. The description includes "runs well except for an electrical fault which makes dash board needles jump around clock reset and dash board lights randomly light up". Anybody any idea what the problem might be and how easy or difficult or cheap the fix might be?

Could be the cluster is on its way out, worst case is a replacement from a scrappy and needing to get the mileage corrected to match the car (you can increase mileage on a the replacement clock yourself using www.multiecuscan.net software, but cannot decrease it, you'll need to us e a specialist company if you need to decrease the mileage though).
