General Stilo rear door not locking

Hi all,

The driver side rear door on my stilo won't lock at all and the child lock won't engage at all. Anybody have any idea how to go about fixing this?

Have you tried removing the door card and checking the connections? Could be a good place to start, good luck!

I've had the door card off and tried to remove the steel plate behind it but can't get it off. The rod that moves up and down when the door locks/unlocks doesn't seem to be connected to anything and I can't see where it goes

hmm, it could be worth checking fuses. I only have a two door so I don't know which fuse would cover the back doors, it is more than likely a shared fuse though. The front central locking is shared with the courtesy lights fuse on my car. Have a look through the handbook, unfortunately I don't think it is obviously named it has an ambiguous name.

It's definitely not a fuse as the the lock does 'click' when the button is pressed. Seems like something has become disconnected
