Technical Stilo Key Refurbishment

I've already made some tests to figure out whether to paint the rubber buttons as well or not. In theory, I should do it, but with a different color. We shall see if the test is successful and if so I will proceed. :)

I don't know if it will work, but I will keep you posted.

Decided to change the color of the buttons after all. The test was a partial success, out of the 3 pieces of rubber I've sprayed it on, it only stuck on 1 and almost stuck on the other.

So I decided to make a fade color, sort of. Sprayed it on, then wiped it with my bare finger, only a little bit. Also changes the blue on the knob, looks better this way, I think.

Went downstairs, tested the key, works and most importantly, looks like a dream. :)

What do you guys think about it?

I think the key looks brilliant but I'm with Shadey regarding the buttons.

Could you perhaps try nail polish on the buttons? You should find a gold glittery nail polish to match the key's body easily although it may be difficult to achieve a streak-free finish.

I could but I need a paint that's flexible and wouldn't go away with time. used this fade effect because if it's going to come off partially I can still say it's a fade effect.:D

Get it?:yum:
