what you go and do that for, hate the astra:(

I've looked at the astra - its nice with the sporty kit on it. Did you not think of selling privately? I'm hoping to sell my JTD in a few months in exchange for a Swift Sport, would like to try and get 2500 for it!

Cant say I find the new astra exciting at all TBO infact I would rather the previous model to the new one..I did get £2500 part ex for mine when they offered me first £1500 then £1800 and I started to walk out the door and said your having a laugh ..the trade is in a state at the mo and the stilo is a hard car to shift off the forcourt so in your case they might just let you walk on out the door..:( I wish you luck ..if I were in your position now with mine I would just run it into the ground and be done with it ..better the devil you know than the devil you dont..;)

astra!!! boring, common crap. Ppl who buy those cars cant think outside the box!

Lecture over!

Don't mind the shape of the Astra, but they're all over the place now. Taken over from the old Corsa SXi in my opinion. Also, hope you've got parking sensors on the back, it looks a total bastid to reverse and see where you're going.

Only Vauxhall I've ever driven was in fact a 55 plate Corsa and though it was actually surprisingly decent to drive it escaped me as to why so many people would want to purchase such a machine. The fuel gauge just plain didn't work, the air circulation button didn't stay in, one of the speakers didn't work and the car had only done 4,000 miles and was less than a year old at the time. The only way of describing the interior would be "scratchy". That sort of plastic you get on Pound Store computer speakers or something. I did enjoy thrashing the arse of it though...courtesy cars are indeed rather nippy :D

Anyway though, I do hope the Astra works out for you (y)
