Good morning gentlemen,
I need some advice.I bought a connect + unit from ebay and have wired it into my stilo.First problem is when i connect up the second (+)power supply from the ignition the unit looks for the master code.Anyone any ideas how to over ride it?
2nd problem isIi need to update the unit and get a copy of the navteq cd, where can I get them?
And my last question.If I just plug in the power iso and the audio leads into the back of the unit (without the 2nd power line) the unit powers up.I had tried to connect up a sat nav antenna (from maplin) into one of the gt5 connectors on the back of the unit.The unit does not seem to be picking up any signal.Do you need to have the maps cd in and running fro the unit even to display the longitude and latitude, or is the antenna very sensitive? perhaps I need to get a proper fiat one?:bang:
