i brought a stilo 2004 1.6 active sport the other month.
when i got the car, it had a headlight out on it, so the computer told me everytime i startted the car. so when i changed the headlighht i also put LED 501 side light bulbs in the front aswell. and now the computer is still showing that there is a bulb gonee on the front of the car.

is there a problem with the LED side light bulbs conflicting with the computer. i have heard that it happens with some of the BMWs and Audis, and to solve that u have to buy these exspensive LED bulbs that dont mess up the computer

Does anyone else have the same problem and is there an easy soulution?

cheers

If you've fitted normal LEDs, the bulb outage module will always show as "Bulb Failure". If you want to fit LEDs, you will need ones designed as suitable for use with bulb failure warning.

Yeah that! I got LED's fitted in mine too but they have bulit in resistors to bypass the computer and so no warnings. They were pretty new when they came out a few months ago but they're everywhere now. Mine only have a single wide angle LED but they're perfectly reasonable. New ones are available with 4 LEDs and even 8 LEDs. I may be upgrading to the 8 LED version soon...
