I recently bought a abarth cluster with the coloured lcd screen for my
1.4 Stilo, i havent fit it yet in my car but the thing that concerns me is that the needle of the RPM meter is not on zero position its at about 2.000 position. If i put it in my car will the cluster reset itself if i turn the key on ?

Hi, Welcome to the FF.

It could be a problem with the stepper motor that moves the needle. There's some information about the motors in this thread: https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/472085-fiat-stilo-instrument-cluster-repair-question.html

Or it may just need resetting to zero, which can be done with diagnostic software such as multiecuscan.

Hello and thanks for welcoming me with your reply, the thing is that the cluster was working in the previous owner car and the needle moved during the transportation, its ok if i put it in my car or its dangerous for the needle to make some crazy move and brake? Its a possible to move to the correct position without the multiecuscan zero process?
