Hi thanks for accepting me, new to the forum, suspect we are going to need it being new owners of a 2005 Fiat that we have just been gifted over at our french house. Our friends did not have the time to get it repaired. We have been told it needs a new instrument cluster panel. We are going to attempt swapping this over ourselves to save money. I have been looking for a replacement one on ebay.fr and as i do not know the part number ( as it still on the car in france, and we are in the UK) i was wondering if this is needed. We know the make and model of the car etc but do not know the HP? My question is do i wait to get the part number or can i choose one with out? 2nd question is, once we swap over, is it just a matter of taking it to an auto electrician to get it reprogrammed, and will the speedo show the replacement parts mileage. TIA
