I didn't like it when I drove a pop, it felt a bit cheap and nasty IMHO. Go for the leather wheel if you can afford it. You need to buy Blue&Me as well though but that's also worth it.good morning, 1.2 pop owners what do you think of the pop steering wheel? thanks
Well perhaps they don't want alloys, leather seats etc etc?just spec a sport in the first place
by the time you have specced up the base model with a leather wheel and non fabric seats and added alloys you might as well buy a sport as it works out much cheaper!

Oh I agree I find the fact that people buy a pop and then spend extra money speccing it up just so they can get the pop seats a bit funny to say the least.I see a lot of POP owners speccing up their cars and cannot understand it really
If you want basic just buy it as it comes
Sport has half faux leather seats and faux leather wheel as standard
and blue and me, aircon etc

options on a pop won't be worth much when it comes time to resell the car.

Looking at Suzyo's other post you're right she has specced the car up a little bit and tbh if you were adding a leather wheel+blue&me you'd be better off just going for a sport or a lounge as options on a pop won't be worth much when it comes time to resell the car.
No need to apologise at allsoz was not meant to be funny, really wanted a 500, wanted a red one , bit of a magpie so wanted chrome, dont like steel wheels so got alloys, not bothered about blue and me wont use it , dont like ac, not too bothered bout other bits on sport wanted basic car pushed my budget to 750 to get what vi wanted could not stretch to 1400 extra for sport, just thought i,d ask what people thought,
I don't think people appreciate what an evolutionary leap Blue&Me is. Everytime I step into a car without it I feel like I'm going back to the steam powered age. No CDs sloshing about the cabin, no stupid bluetooth headsets, no arsing about with a calculator to work out your mpg. It's really the best option ever on the 500's. If I was ordering again today I'd take it over any other option on offer.
I agree. Its a fab bit of kit and I love the steering wheel controls etc! Don't know how I ever coped without it.I don't think people appreciate what an evolutionary leap Blue&Me is. Hiya,
When I went to the showroom and looked at all the 500s the one I liked best was a white Pop with the red seats and Ivory ambience. It had the standard Pop steering wheel and I thought it was lovely - nice & simple but really stylish & fun, and in the true spirit of the 500.
My car is on order and unfortunately I got a bit carried away and decided I wanted the 'blue n me' - so I ended up having to take the leather steering wheel - though really do prefer the Pop one!
The steering wheel does look a bit simpler, but it feels a lot cheaper and just isn't as nice as the leather wheel.

Does the job though.
