My steering wheel vibrates madly from around 60mph on the speedo (or 55mph by the sat nav). The car moves a little eg if road isn't smooth, but the steering wheel is much much more noticeable. I took it in to have the front two wheels balanced but that hasn't sorted it. Also have driven v slowly in a circle in each direction with the windows down as advised to (as clunking noise may mean probs with CV joints) but didn't hear any such noises.
I will only be taking it to the garage as not got the skills or space to work on the car myself, but wondered if anyone could advise me what should i be expecting and at what rough cost? As a female driver like to be prepared :) Think will have it rebalanced just be sure it's not that but then what else is likely to be the cause of it?

Thanks, got all 4 balanced as apparently one of the rear wheels was buckled but they managed to balance it out, much better now to drive.
