Technical Starting problem

Have aleak at the elbow of the pipe with the white connector. Took elbow out to see o ring size nothing available. when I put it back in the van tyrns over tries to start then dies. Do I need to crack the pipes to injectors to bleed air. If not any ideas what's gone wrong .

It only takes five minutes to check if there was air in the pipes

Still have a diesel leak on the elbow below white connector. Fiat no longer stock this part and mot due in a couple of months. Has anyone got one for sale from a breaker . Thanks for reading .

Does it fit to engine with a screw/bolt?

Looks like we might have to improvise

Have you got a picture of it ? (apart from the one installed)

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you the leak is from the elbow where it locates into the pump. The o ring looks slightly deformed so I have put a little packing similar to garden twine under the o ring and reversed it's direction. It does seem more secure in the hole . Will give this a go and hope it works . Pic of the elbow attached. Small clamping plate holds the elbow against the pump face .

I must admit .... (and I'm giving away a trade secret here).... the power of "lens" within my android phone. (It's why I was asking for a photo in post 5)

Take a photo, or transfer it to your phone's photo collection (via whatsapp or whatever) , then click lens and look over the results (which is what I did.

There are several suppliers , most about £39 (with a confirmation photo) , but one or two at £20 (without the photo for confirmation , but is listing the same bosch part number)
