Hi everyone,
I am a Mechatronics student and I’m currently struggling with the VP1 (Uconnect 3" non-touch) head unit on a Fiat Doblo 263 Facelift. I’m trying to enable the AUX input to connect a Bluetooth module, but I've hit a wall.
What I have done so far:
It seems like a dual issue:

What I have done so far:
- I used MultiEcuScan (MES) with an SGW Bypass cable.
- I set the "Aux-in function" to "Enabled" and successfully performed a Proxy Alignment. (The odometer is NOT flashing, and the alignment was successful).
- I identified the 4-pin layout on the back: AF-L, AF-R, AF-GND, and AUX-DET.
- I bridged AUX-DET to GND (tried both directly and with a 470-ohm resistor).
It seems like a dual issue:
- The software is "Enabled" but the hardware input isn't being "opened" or "triggered."
- The configuration isn't persistent after a power cycle/deep sleep.
