General start of the abarth rebuild/1.4 16v conversion

ok i have all connected and have removed the light blue/white from its connection as u said what i have left now is coming out the punto loom is the pink/yellow left over and from the cinq d4 i have an orange/blue pin8 and a grey/green pin19 thats it

yes it is a punto box and ive just picked up another one for £50 quid collecting saturday now i have a spare

sounds like you got it right , make sure the red black goes to the bullet connector which connects to the female under the cinq battery.

without that i found the fuel pump won't prime!

Im over the moon this evening even though im laying on the settee feeling half dead but just got a real bargain thanks to kritip now i have his bmc cda for my conversion just a shame fingers beat me to the exhaust manifold,should of been quicker :bang:

Barely a living wage. There's a lot of work in them. But I'll look into using better quality stainless and nicer looking (and back purged) welds.

The 1.4 16v wasn't in the Stilo until 2004, and it was never in a Bravo/Brava/Marea iirc.

Suspect it's a 1.2 16v

Good heads up. I suspect that there are 3 engines there and that they're confusing them -- one is certainly a 1.2 16v.

Can anyone remember the engine codes for the 1.4 16v Stilo lump?

iirc, the Stilo and MK2b punto 1.4 16v is 843.A1000

The Grande Punto and Panda maybe be different (starjet and 100bhp)

Panda is the same as Stilo and Punto (Euro 4 emmission compliance). Panda had a slightly more aggressive map than Stilo/Punto. GP is different to comply with Euro 5 due to it's later implementation.

Thanks. Carfolio came up with 843 A 1000 too.

Can't find owt for the GP 1.4 and Panda 100hp, but I'd suspect they'd be different (wart engines!).
