Ouch poor chii suffered there(n)
I have just been out after waiting for the london traffic to disappear so i could go and do the motorway run and see how everything faired and if any problems would appear and my reason for letting traffic die down is so should any bolt or nut fall off then there is less chance of it going thru someone screen:eek: just covered about 20 miles at unknown speeds due to speedo still not being sorted but at 1 stretch of straight motorway and nothing about i saw 7000rpm in 6th and it was perfectly stable, temp held perfectly in fact i couldnt fault it so tomorrow im off for a trip to southam in warwickshire to pick up a new screen as mine has a couple of tiny grinding burns on it and one chip so its getting changed.:D so watch out for me if anyone is out and about (y)(y)

Well after a week of no posts there is still nothing interesting to report as its driving without any faults, totally perfect cant fault it in anyway so i think its time to start getting the bodywork into shape ready to get it painted at the end of the summer :D:D
nobody seems to want to take the cinq on now think the locals are getting to know how quick it is :D:D:D:D

Well after a short trip through some fairly well congested roads with andy today my mind is made up..... I want one :p

Blu you were right (I owe ya a drink when I finally meet ya)

I think if the 1.4 was turboed it would be the perfect car as they seem to (imo) lack a little low end torque, bearing in mind as andy said to me its still in need of a remap (and a lot of my driving history is turbo diesels)but on the whole I think what andy has achieved is an awesome little car it looks good and sounds awesome (also lights the front wheels up pretty well too ;) ) and goes like stink and I was pretty chuffed with the brakes too, as a few people argue rear disks are better (and I thought the same too) but imo they would have to be pretty impressive to out do the setup already on there

Anyway sorry for the essay, this really is a awesome little car and the bloke that drives it aint too bad either :p hopefully more of these will be built

Cheers for the ride out andy and cheers for sorting me out with imola

Can't wait for the shows this year :)

Night guys

Well i finally got the rear shox changed and they were fubared but they had done 5 years hard service and only replaced them with standard for the time being till i can afford a pair of spax adj rears :D:D however i took the shox poly bushes out before throwing them away as i have looked for a new set of these bushes and cant find them anywhere :eek: do they even make them or have these been made for the shox????
also i am still messing about with the thermostat housing and tomorrow going to get a sender unit for dash temp gauge and then get it put on and heres hoping it all works ;)
