General Squeking when turning right

Hi All.

Hearing a squeaking noise when turning steering wheel right

Morning. Thanks do these need replacing or can I use some silicone spray?

Never need to change on yet
Never heard of anyone else change one

It's very unlikely, there will always be an exception

You can always confirm if it's your problem by temporarily popping it off

Ok great well it is a 20 year old car! Perhaps I will try the silicone wd40 spray. The squeak can be slightly annoying unless the music is loud lol

wd40 spray

If it contains natural rubber, I don't know if it does
Wd40 my not be an ideal choice, the solvents in wd40 my degrade it or cause it to swell

I would not be over worried but probably best not to use term

The solvents may also flush out some of the remaining grease from the UJ

It a common problem on the Merc A class. Spray silicone on the UJ fixed these. Although not a common problem on the panda as far as I know

Silicone is safe anywhere which is why @jackwhoo suggested it

Fine on rubber
Fine on metal
Fine getting wet

So ideal around here

I been using this stuff for the last couple of years

How it holds up long term i can't say but so far so good

But will work fine on the grommet
