Just had a quick look around my Grande Punto doorcard and noticed there is no where to get speaker cable into the car from the door. What has everyone else done?

I was thinking about running the cable under the door seals.

well my speaker wire runs under the door seal once the footwell trim is on you cant tell and its still water tight, thats using 10 Awg speaker cable too.

col mate where are you located, if ya can we should meet up cos i could probably answer most of your GP ICE questions and show ya my install :)

Na i can do half way or something on a saturday, stay over night and go for a curry. We could bring some tools and help fit things or show what we would do. I will hopefully have a scope by then so i could get everything running tickedy boo. Any ideas are welcome.

sounds good mate! I'll be up for it after i swap my 1.2 for a 1.4 t-jet (hopefully a couple of months), my install atm is just to tide me over the type s sub is alright but it lacks clarity.

I gave up on drilling the multiplug in the end too. Did the car side multiplug (Female) no problem. But the one on the door side was a beeatch and is a moulded plug. Also, driver side had no free pins

Most people end up taking the doors off to do it. I personally would want proof that there would be any audible difference to go to that amount of trouble.

Yeah taking the doors off is a bit extreme!! - So did you just run your cables to the iso block and use factory wiring then?

Yup and im pumping 200w RMS through them, i would imagine that you lose like 2-3% efficiency or something like that so 6w isnt going to make an audible difference is it.
You will loose more by having the gain set 0.1° out.
