I recently had some work done on the car (clutch replaced) and the electrics seem to have been reset. Since then the radio needed decoding, which I have done (about a hundred times now!).
Once I have put the code it starts to search for stations, and I can reset the time - fine. After a few more seconds the whole sound system freezes and turns itself off and needs decoding again. Whilst in this state the green panel switches itself on and off as it pleases. It mainly chooses to stay on at night, and whilst I'm at work, thus draining the battery.
Does anyone have a solution to my problem, other than installing a new stereo?!
I have already tried removing the fuse for the sound system as a temporary measure, but rather inconveniently the same fuse also controls the central locking!
