General snapped key

hi anyone got any ideas what to use to get my deisel cap off my scudo until my new key gets delivered thanks in advance guys

to open the filler cap?
without a key your going ot have to destroy it im afraid.
is it a locking flap or just a locking filler cap?

its just a cap,i thought maybe there would be some sort of instrument that might open it.wish i,d been a car theif i my youth ,cheers

not really else there would be no point in the lock.
you could ask a locksmith but it would cost if he could

Drill it off? But that risks getting plastic and metal in the tank! How long you have to wait for your new key?

ah i thought you wanted to save the cap......................
in a similar situation i levered it with a screwdriver.
it did shatter and i have the scar to this day

Ahh ok he may do, i though you got a new cap with the key, or is it one thats the same as the main key.
