My EGR is getting done next week once the parts in at Wentane.

I shall do a full briefing of the results once fitted.

Ok post repair report -

Had the EGR replaced today, all I can say is welcome back Multiwagon goodbye faultiwagon.

The car starts cleaner it seems, ticks over nicely (though still with a bit of steering wheel vibration), the engine revs smoothly from idle when stood and you can even hear the turbo whistling now unlike before where the engine sounded muffled. The car when you pull away now pulls cleanly from idle with the clutch lifted quickly... would of stalled before as the engine bogged unless you slipped the c;lutch and revved like hell.
The fuel ecomomy is now at 50mpg rather than 40mpg and you can boot it with not a slight bit of smoke.

All I can say is cheers all that suggested the EGR been at fault in the 1st place as I am sure I have saved on getting the car checked and possibly not sorted as quickly.

Im now deffo booking my Angel tuning ASAP as I know the engine isnt on its last legs.

Good result (y)

What I want to know is what's this rumour you've been drifting your rear end on all the corners :slayer: - when all along you've been driving such a poorly JTD :(

What rumour is this??... Due to the lack of acceleration corner speeds have to be maintained.. this means a slightly differnt driving stye which requieres the use of all 4 wheels turning!

All I did coming home from the garage tonight was snoke the tyres at every junction with the new found power.. hehe.
