its not that difficult to get into gear but there is the slight odd hesistation when movign to 2nd..

so there is a problem with all of the gears, but the 2nd is the worst ???

If that is the case, I think they didnt put the clutch right

not 2 in specific

however i only went up to 2 when i got it back will try all gears

but guesss it coudl be needed to break in the clutch or the linkage ill test and report back..

cheers for replies boys

HI SVEN I had another look it doesnt happen often but its seems hard to put it in 2nd only and only i assuemd the biting point of the clutch woudl be very low as in near to when you press your foot down
its gone down but not as i exprect

i spoke ot the garage he said it cant be linked as the clutch was only a take out and put in job
although there is a link its not much...

any advice.

I'd be interested if there is a fix for this too.

I have the same problem, also restricted to 2nd gear. It seems to be worse when the gearbox is cold, could it just need an oil change/top-up?

It's more of an irritation than a real problem but there are enough irritations going around at the moment!

I have a week off next week and will be taking a look to see if I can cure it. If I find a cure, I'll post it here.

top man

yep again looks like it was cold
first and gear and secodn seem a problem

def only arose when the clutch was changed
wil be takign this to garage for them to look into it..
also my bitign point still hasnt gone down a bit..is this the norm for a new clutch change>?
