Single wiper conversion??

Hi, Im thinking about changing my two wiper blades at the front for a single one. Has anyone done this or even better got any finished pics? And how much of a job is it to do?

it can be done but it will have to be complete custom job or you can take out the drivers one and put the passenger one so it is stuck straight up the middle so it wipes down but that will only give you half the screen to veiw or you could angle it sligty at the 2 o clock position and that will widen the veiw but restrict it more slighty on the other side


but if you take the motor apart i belive you can widen the wiper angle so you can have a go at any of these.

its doable, you need to get a longer linkage made up to give you a wider sweep. when you get to the motor it'll make sense.

someone has already done this on a brava from over the seas, the gold colored one, with the green dash, if anyone remembers so it can be done

Single wiper conversion is very doable, as Dan said above.

You do indeed need to lengthen the linkage, but by how much I do not know. Trial & error kind of thing.

Best to get an old linkage from a scrappers, and practice on that. Once sorted, use that as a template on your current one.

BTW, you need to be handy with a welder, or know someone that is...
