Shell tanker drivers

1. Jeramy* JEREMY and your doing a masters? God help whoever employs you.
A. I know, what can you do hey? anyway I thought you had better `Thingd' to do with your time? (you'll notice I corrected that for you when I quoted you as well) ;)

2. i never once said im superior, no matter how much you try to make it look that way.
A. No no what you said was that tanker drivers don't deserve to earn £40k a year and shouldn't be moaning, and that doing an IT degree is really really hard and that no one else in the world could possibly do one.

3. are you a tanker driver? no. so why take so much offence to a comment.
A. Is it your money the tanker drivers are being paid? why should you care? its a private sector company.

4. your the one whos looking like a stroppy teenager trying to get a reaction from me. lol i may just stick around see what other useless comments you come out with. bell end.

A. Oh well what you going to do... oh result to insults! not at all childish? fair do's, a quick point "bellend" is all one word (y)

That sucks, I'm on annual leave at the moment currently sat at the iMac, trying to decide what new car to buy, while enjoying a cup tea, still back to my well paid public sector job on Wednesday ;)

I really do feel for people who are losing jobs, being made redundant times are really hard at the moment, I've been laid off in the past with no notice and left with mortgage to pay and a mountain of other debts, however I worked bloody hard to get what I have now, my job, my pension, my home etc, as do these lorry drivers and I for one would be furious if someone else with no concept of what I do or how I lived my life decided that I was being paid to much and they were going to take that away from me, I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't

lol my posts getting alot of hate what im saying is people moan because their pay isn't brilliant count yourself lucky you have a job! Ive worked since i left school aswell as college and now uni and im struggling to get a job over mr sultry teenager! i took a degree in IT after i was deferred from the army, its not a "mickey mouse" degree. Computers will run everything soon then myself and all the other people who take these degrees will be laughing. Mickey mouse degree lol try doing one!
Hiya. i have a son he will be 22 soon, he doesn't have a degree, but did two years at college for game programming, he then decided to work for free at the college he gained his Btec and was offered a job and back pay too for the 4 weeks he worked for free. like I said he is nearly 22 just finished doing sicsco? whatever that is and is a full IT technician at the college and coming up to 3 years service there, with the college paying for whatever courses they feel will benefit him and them..
Had he had gone to UNI sure he might well be coming out of uni this year with
a degree.as so many of his friends will be,and some classmates from his BTec days.Alas none of them are laughing and frankly his ex classmates still phone him or ask for his help, more than he asks them. he doesn't have their debts, they don't have his experience,if say they were to all apply for the same job tomorrow and him not having a degree in IT isn't going to be an handicap, bar at the very top of the ladder, and frankly, nothing is stopping him from getting a degree at a later date anyway.
A fare few years back my wife did AAT accounting 3 years pt time to become fully AAT qualified, whilst she still worked,Then did CIMA 2 and a half years to become qualified.
Although she could maybe had done an accounting degree instead for 3 full-time years, and had a degree, but then she would still had had to do 2 and a half years of CIMA! the accounting market is now saturated, and it wont be long before the IT market is too..

You tone is what worries me of today's Yuffs, you think you know it all and us old timers are daft or out of touch,oh how i would like to be around in 30 years time to see how your tone changes, but for now good luck with finding the type of work you want..
