I used similar flame gun 40 years ago. VERY satisfying to use but lots of weeds just come back from the roots.
It seems a poor method now, with the availability of modern weed killers, in particular, Roundup - glyphosphate

ive already fenced off the weed area and used chemicals, but i dont want rabbits eating the now dead weeds. so was thinking of burning them off
try one of them new cuprinol fenca painting machines... mix of petrol, small amout of diesel to stableise it, and brake cleaner...

i need big thing like a sheen or i be there for ever, it a large area about 3 times size of your back garden.

You can get the one's which take the gas bottle you normally use with blow tourches. That what we use, but remove the gas after use as it seems to over time slow seep out if left attached, and then when we go to re-using it theres no gas.
