She doesnt talk to me :-(

Just bought myself a 1.4 Grande Sporting, Chemical grey with leather seats, beautiful.
Bit dassapointed with the hard cheap plastics inside, but I knew something had to go for all these gadgets, well worth it tough!

My problem is, my Blue&Me wont speak to me :-(

I can access it and use the voice controls fine, apart from transfer my phonebook over, but I have a Nokia N95 so I've given up really.
Folloing the manual guidelines, when I say "help" I should be given a response sayiong what options are avilable ect, but I've never heard her speak

How do I fix this??

I had a similar problem, its to do with the language files being corrupted or incorrect. There is a sticky thread at the top of the B&M forum about re-installing the files, that should then sort it

Or is the volume up? lol... the voice wont speak at the same volume as your radio/cd. It is totally different, say help and turn the volume nob up and if you still dont hear any thing try Adam's reply

alot of phones wont transfer address book (as mentioned see compatibility list on fiat site) also it wont transfer if it is currently updating.

The nokia n95 works well with B+M when youve paired the phone right, and it says contacts to the phone book or something, press the okay button and it will say to send the contacts manually, go into the nokias contacts book options, mark all, then to send, and itll come up with the devices select blue&me and it should send them all.. i have the n82 and its the same basically took me about 15mins but the voice thing is a common thing i had mine back in fiat for it, they just updated the software and she now speaks to me, but the problem now is getting her to shut up lol

The software update worked a treat, not sure about her voice like, is there not a patch someone has made or anything to change her to something else? I'd love Patrick Stewart or Angelina Jolie reading stuff out to me, haha

The manual phone part, I remember seeing that on the dash when I paired it originally, I'l try it again now I can hear her

Worked a treat guys thanks, the problem was because she wasnt speaking when I first tried it, so I didnt know the right moment to send them manually.
