Technical Servo problem

I've just bought a bravo 1.8 hlx. It has a braking problem-pedal is very hard with no braking effort so i think the servo has either failed or searching this site it might be the servo hose. Any help please?!!!

Also I'm after a rear silencer the the cheapest i've found is £61.70 supplied anyone know where i can better this?

£61.70 for a rear silencer is excellent because the rear silencer is actually the whole cat back part of the exhaust, with a middle box, rear box, and loads of pipe. they dont seperate.

when break pedal is very hard to press and there is no effort on all breaks is does usually mean the master cylinder in the servo is dead. if the break pedal rises slowly that would also suggest its time to change the servo.
