Service Coupon Expired message

I asked this recently.. but cannot find it now

I got the above message scrolling across the screen..

Service probably due..as @2 years since the last ( always been to 'specialists'
: trying to ensure the use of the correct oil..) its always serviced 'early'.. so Ive not seen this message before.

Bit the bullet and did the oilchange myself.. no problems

I didnt have the kit at hand to clear the message - reset the service counters

So.. no great shock when the message was still scrolling after every start.up

Car was fine for the next @250 miles..
I then realised the message had stopped scrolling

Does it 'time.out'?

Anybody know..??

Concensus on other threads, significantly Panda 169 and 500, is that it does time out eventually, but when interrogated with MES, will show service not done, so worth resetting sometime when you are near the kit.

Yes it will stop reminding you of the service after so many miles
