Technical seicento speedo problem

Hiya I have an 03 plate seicento and the speedo is not working, have already replaced the speedo sensor and is still not working, when ignition is switched on the speedo goes to zero, has anyone got any ideas as to how to fix this problem Thanks Glen :bang:

Glen, did you get this problem fixed? if so what was the cause? I have the same problem, an 03 seicento sporting, speedo not working even after a new sensor, fiat main dealers now says that it could be the actually speedo unit. but i suspenct an ECU PROBLEM

Also check brake lights are working, as it shares the same circuit. Fuse 21 10 amp.
