Technical Sei whirring noise....just started

i have a whirring noise coming from my 2000 Sei. It just started the other day.
Its hard to tell what it could be. Its more noticeable on start-up. Its not overly noticebale TBH but still a concern as it wasn't there before. Not had oil changed since last April's MOT and there are no leaks etc. Car not overheating either. Am i just hearing things ?!!!!

more info please.does it rise with the rev's?does it go if you dip the clutch?

Does it happen while moving or when engine running at a standstill.

Does it have the electric steering? Mine has it and you can hear it sometimes.
