Any thoughts (practical or otherwise) as to what mirrors would look good on a sei?

I know the obvious direct fit would be cinq mirrors, but not sure the Sei's curvy shape could confidently pull off such square mirrors (anyone with pics that might prove me wrong, please share! :D)

always liked the cup mirrors, but they just wouldn't work now that I have the Mos.

Might jus do some sei mirrors in white :p

are the baseplates from a mk1 punto the same size/shape as the sei? (or close enough to dremel?).

i expect it to look poo. like sei mirrors on a cinq = crap

No, driving a quick Cinq and seeing the rear view image distort due to the mirror vibrating is crap, maybe you haven't experienced a quick Cinq :D

As for original question, fit come Vitaloni California mirrors, should suit the Sei shape. You would need to make a base plate but that's not too difficult.

oooo i hope john doesnt read that:eek::eek:
lol just my opinion. looks silly putting really round bubbly mirrors on a cinq that is a box.

cinq mirrors are really poor tho (cant see the sei mirrors been any better unless the mirror is curved so you can see more) I usely just look over my sholder (which is just a habbit from bike riding).

As someone who for now has both a Cinq with std mirrors and one with Sei mirrors i would say the visibility of the Cinq mirrors is better than Sei mirrors

But if you reverse the colour scheme when fitting Sei mirrors to a Cinq and have an Abarth kit they look OK

Ive made a pair of DTM mirrors which look swish. you would however need to custom make the plates. I bought a set of sei mirrors andremoved them from the plates. Then attached the DTMs to this and fibreglassed all the joins using a thicker compound and followed up by a much thinner compond. I then sanded down til they looked good, spreyed them up and fitted them. well worth the work (y)

Very nice (y) - will keep my eye out for a set of these ;)

I'd be tempted to agree with you there.

Don't think DTM's will look right on my car now, but that aside do you have any pics?

I love my car - just that I started thinking about getting white sei mirrors to go with the white wheel look, then decided I might as well see what other mirror options there were.

I might not change them, but I think that if I do it will be for white Sei ones...
