Hi all,

New to the forum but already spent some time trying to look for similar issues.
I've been driving my Seicento (SPI, 2000) for almost 3 years now, and did quite some preventative maintenance to keep it going.
There has been some light play somewhere when I let off the accelerator and/or go back on the accelerator. First I thought it was the gearbox mount, So I replaced all three mounts just in case. This didn't solve my issue, but I 'feel' the engine being more connected now.

I've also already checked if there's play in the driveshaft, but holding both ends and turning it opposite way by hand shows no sign of play.

When holding both shaft on the gearbox side and rotating them simultaneously, I feel some play.

I expect it to be play in the gearbox but I'm not sure if this is a common issue.

Next step might be to just replace the gearbox with a lower mileage from a scrapped car, but if anyone has a suggestion, please let me know!
