Ok Update for information
Ninja21, thanks for the video. after watching it I found this (Sorry, I need to figure out how to add a hyperlink) - - which showed how the lower dash is removed so gave it a go this morning. Interestingly dash removal on mine was different but easy to figure out but in any event there was no module nor any plastic boss/fitting to attach one to. As said before July2020 140 auto.

Albert like you I definitely dont have the SGW there.

Just read this also, worth a look when it stops raining here.
SGW secure gateway the earlier version has a small black box on the passenger side under the cab mats with a multi plug in and another one out a bypass lead is plugged between the two. And no its not there either?

Likewise
I dont want to believe that what is probably a 2019 or early 2020 has somehow got it integrated into the ecu (Prototype) but it looks as if the only way Im ever going to find out is to purchase MultiECUScan. Thanks for keeping me updated

I will be buying it too in the near future, Mike has sent me a couple of variants. To me its a no brainer as I have access to an MOT centre where I can do any repairs that may be required and coding of new parts is what i need it for along with reading and clearing faults obviously.

Another location where the SGW may be on the 2020.
On the
2020 Fiat Ducato, the Security Gateway (SGW) module is located on a welded bracket directly behind the steering column.
To access it, you need to:
  1. Remove the lower shrouding of the steering wheel and column (typically held by two screws).
  2. Position the steering wheel as high up as possible.
  3. Reach your hand in, back, and to the left to find the module.
  4. The module is attached to the bracket with three nuts. The two nuts on the right side are reachable and can be loosened and removed. The third nut on the left side is difficult to access, but the module can pivot off the prongs once the other two are removed.
  5. After pivoting the module, you can reach the downward-pointing plugs from the right side and disconnect them.
This location is different from some earlier or other Fiat models where it may be behind the glove compartment on the passenger side.

Sounds like an easy one for tomorrow - Did you find one there on yours?

I will but I found the site that I think you quoted from and I'm pretty certain that it refers only to the Stelvios and Giulia. If nothing else the pictures don't look right
Ah ok thats strange, I have had a look around and behind the lower part of the drivers side and didnt see it, so you maybe correct and its not there.
