Technical Scudo Engine Number

I have a 1999 Scudo Itaca Camper with a 1.9TD engine. I have a VIN number but can't find an Engine Number. Repair garage need the engine number to secure the appropriate parts or discuss a replacement engine. Has any Forum user been familiar with this small camper and would they have any idea of the engine model or number used in that year?
I would be grateful for any assistance

Hello,

Usually you can get the engine number from ePER, but in a 26 years old vehicle, anything could have hapenned in the meantime. Unless you have it from new. Usually it was also available on the VIN plate under the bonnet, but same principle applies.

There are some Scudo docs available in the download section of the forum, try checking if there is no information about the location of the engine number on the engine block. That would be the most accurate source to confirm the engine type.

Hi, Thank you for your reply. I am fairly certain it is the original engine but I can't see where the engine number/code is. I'll check out the suggestions you made and see what I can find. Many thanks again for your help
