I have a 2008 Scudo 2.0lt multijet and have to change the clutch. The price of the clutch and flywheel in Australia are beyond rediculous. Therefor I am looking to bring it in from overseas, probably the UK. Can anyone help with this and does anyone have a workshop drawing/manual of the clutch so that I may order the correct parts.

From past experience, if you have a dual Mass flywhhel changeover to a solid one while firtting a new clutch...works out cheaper and you will have all new fits free.

We have looked at this and have been told that although a conversion kit is available the result would be a less than smooth ride.

Our problem is that to purchase the clutch kit and flywheel in Australia is over $2000 whilst I believe that the kit and flywheel is available in the UK for less than 400 pounds. It would be a matter of getting the right parts. I believe that Peugeot has the same clutch parts.

Yes peugeot have the same parts and Andy is also correct, Change it to a solid flywheel and you will have no problem in future. As for the info you recieved about a less than smooth ride, well you would have to be very rough with your clutch control to notice any difference. I would not consider fitting another DMF.

mr auto has a 35% reduction on at the moment. I would always replace like with like. I'm looking forward to good weather in Cairns this christmas.
