Whose form was it though? The Dealers, or the Governments?
Dealers, so you could argue the point but as my old car now has 12 months MOT didn't think it was worth the fight.

Not tempted by the 16" multispokes?Hi All, new member here who has been reading this thread wtih interest.
I have also just ordered a new 500 under the scrappage scheme, and have signed a contract with £2k off the base list price (plus a few well chosen extras). Delivery expected at the end of June, so can't wait now!
I still have a few nerves that they will suddenly demand an extra £1k if the list price changes, but I have checked with the dealer and they told me that this would not happen. I called 3 dealers in all, 2 confirmed the 500 was part of the scheme, 1 did not know, but thought if it did join the scheme, the price would go up by £1k.
Anyway, I am sitting here with my signed order for a 1.2 pop in Bosa Nova white, with 15" two tone alloys, black roof stripe and side bump bars, so I am happy!

They're only £50 more than the two tone alloys. I relented and added them to my order yesterday.

I couldn't face all that wheel cleaning I'm afraid - they do look great though, I agree with you there. Not tempted by the 16" multispokes?

Do you have any reccomendations for products for the wheels then?I ordered the 16" multispokes but the car arrived with the 421's, seven hole with spokes instead. I had the choice of having them replaced but having seen them in the flesh I liked them so decided to keep.
Having washed them a few times now I'm glad I did.
If I was getting them now the first thing I would do would be to remove them from the car and wax seal them to make life a little easier in the future.
Oh! and get a horses hoof brush for a quid. LOL.

Tried, this is the first car I have not got a discount on, I think the scrappage scheme has hit Fiat a little hard, it's costing them £1000 per car, don't think anyone got that deal before.A bit of moaning and fuss making could maybe see a couple extras thrown in though.![]()
Go on, someone else use the words "subsequent residue" in a sentence then.![]()

Oh but I can have accessories and cost, which is no big deal but helps the pride.
After using rude wax on my car the flies love to go skating on the slippery surface of the subsequent residue left behind.

After removing the yucky stuff from the caserole last night the subsequent residue reminded me of flies skating on the bonnet of newly rude waxed BNW 500...![]()
