Great preparation for a working life that would be!
However as a large proportion in his area are Govt employees on flexi time he might have a point!
What a joke.
So you can imagine when they get their first job at 16.
"I want you to start at 8am tomorrow"
"Sorry I can't, experts say I dont function before 11"

The way the gov are making things easier for kids these days they wont be able to function in the real world at all..
typical eh, kids are going bed late so they dont function well in school.. so a easy answer, just give them less school time, instead of telling the parents to make their kids go bed early and actually have a decent nights sleep..

Plenty of jobs that offer shifts starting later in the day
not with all them holidays as well though

What a load of rubbish!! This country is going to the wall with all our 'experts' How come other countries like the Phillipians are encouraging kids to get up at 6:00 to walk to school to get an education and then the UK are hiring them cos our own kids can't be bothered.
What the kids need are early nights and a kick up the backside in the morning.
